Carissa Andrews:

Welcome to Manifest Differently, the podcast for neurodivergent thinkers and anyone looking to approach manifestation in a way that truly works for them. I'm your host, carissa Andrews, here to explore the science, energy and strategies that will help you create the life you love. Let's dive in and Manifest Differently.

Carissa Andrews:

Welcome back to Manifest Differently. I am your host, carissa Andrews, author, ceo and neurodivergent manifester. So today we're diving into the fascinating intersection of science and manifestation. And now to me. There's a lot of different intersections of science and manifestation, but this one is going to be all about how your mindset, energy and nervous system impact your ability to manifest, especially as a neurodivergent individual. So get ready for a deep dive into the how behind the magic.

Carissa Andrews:

My intention today for this episode is to help you to see manifestation as a grounded, repeatable process that works in harmony with your unique neurodivergent brain and biology. Actually, it works with anybody's unique brain, but you get the point right. Manifestation is also not woo-woo. At least it's not only woo-woo. It's science and energy working together in alignment with who you are. So it's very important that we get clear on who we are and what it is we're trying to call in, because if we don't, then there are things that can go a little bit sideways until we're very clear right Now. Later I'm going to be sharing a simple but powerful exercise that can go a little bit sideways until we're very clear right Now. Later I'm going to be sharing a simple but powerful exercise that can shift your energy and reprogram your nervous system quickly so that you can align with your desires, designed specifically to work for neurodivergent thinkers. So stay tuned.

Carissa Andrews:

Now, before we get going, let's take a moment to center ourselves and ground into this episode. If you know me, you know at this point in time, I like to make sure that we are relinquishing all the nervous energy, a lot of the momentum of the day, for just a minute, because it's important if we want to hear the messages that are meant for us to be present enough to be in this moment. Okay, so here's what I want you to do I want you to inhale for four counts and then hold for four counts and then exhale for six. Okay, and when you're doing this, I want you to imagine breathing in light like light particles I always see like little, like flecks of light, kind of shimmering and then exhale any tension or any stagnant energy. Can you do that? Okay? So place your hand on your heart and feel it beating, and then I want you to breathe in deeply into that space for four One, two, three, four.

Carissa Andrews:

Now hold for four counts One, two three, four, and now exhale for six. One, two, three, four, five, six. So imagine a warm, glowing light expanding with each of these breaths.

Carissa Andrews:

Okay, glowing light expanding with each of these breaths. Okay, let's do it one more time. Inhale for four one, two, three, four. Hold for four one, two, three, four and exhale for six one, two, three. Exhale for six one, two, three, four, five, six.

Carissa Andrews:

If this breathing feels overwhelming at any time, or like if you're driving or something, obviously try a tactile grounding technique instead, like gently tapping your fingers together or rubbing your palms to center yourself, because that will help bring you into your body and just kind of lower the volume of all the things outside of yourself. So feel free to give that a try next time as well. The last thing I want you to do keep your hand on your heart and just remind yourself you are safe, you are grounded and you're ready to receive, and I think that safety thing is a really big component, right? So many of us, as we're manifesting, we're doing it to get that level of relief, and relief typically stems to the need to feel safe or secure. And so just remind yourself right now you are safe. You are safe from all the things that are worrying you. They have no power here in your mind. Right now you are completely safe.

Carissa Andrews:

All right, let's talk about the role of mindset before we get into, like nervous system regulation, all those things. So your conscious mind sets a goal, right? So you decide you want something, you want to manifest something, but your subconscious mind is the engine that drives you there. So if, for example, your subconscious beliefs don't align with your desires, your manifestations can stall. And so you can see this in terms of like when you procrastinate. And so you can see this in terms of like when you procrastinate, when things feel overwhelming and you have executive dysfunction. When those sorts of things are going on, there's a disconnect between what you want and what you think you can do, manage, have all the things. So if you repeatedly tell yourself, for example, I'm not good enough, your brain wires together, to believe that Neurons that fire together wire together. But when you consciously affirm I'm capable and back it up with action, you can actually rewire those pathways.

Carissa Andrews:

Now, if you've ever read Joe Dispenza's Breaking the Habit of being Yourself, he talks about this in that book, where he talks about how you know if you have a personality rooted in some sort of emotion and it paints your entire life and you're deciding to be a different person, a person who is, let's say, let's give the example of lack. Lack seems to be a big one that I think a lot of people, especially in the United States, are dealing with, when lack permeates your reality, whether it be lack of money, lack of love, lack of support. Lack of love, lack of support, lack of opportunities, lack of synchronicities, lack of whatever. Everything becomes painted by this term of lack. And so if you want to become the person that manifests easily, that sees the world as magical, that has all sorts of synchronicities and opportunities being drawn to them, you have to relinquish that personality of lack.

Carissa Andrews:

And now in Joe Dispenza's book he talks about, through his meditation process, how you can choose that emotion, right? So, whether it be lack, let's use that example again. And when you're doing the meditation you call that up into your meditation. That that's the emotion, that's the way of thinking that you want to relinquish. And then he gives you a couple of examples of how, like, let's say, your day you wake up and you're in your shower and that old, familiar feeling starts cropping back up. What you're going to do is notice it and say the word change. And because when you're in that pattern disruption, of not allowing the thoughts to gain momentum of how you would normally think you have now rewired your brain, you are shifting away from those old patterns that are very familiar, probably very concrete. You've thought those thoughts over and over again. They have like a highway, super highway of like momentum, right, and we don't want those anymore. And so what it takes is the pattern disruption, even just a little bit, to be able to help you to let go of that version of thinking. It helps you to let go and start moving toward a place of empowerment and becoming that newer version of yourself, the one that you want to become. So if you want to become the abundant person, the one that sees opportunities and the world as magical, you have to catch yourself in those moments where you're thinking it's not right. So if you repeatedly tell yourself the thoughts that you want to think and let go of the ones that you are not wanting to think, what happens is those neural pathways start to shrivel that you don't want, and the ones that you are now strengthening will grow and become your dominant thoughts.

Carissa Andrews:

Overthinking or self-doubt can sometimes really feel like roadblocks, but they're just signals from your brain trying to protect you right? What makes neuroplasticity so amazing for neurodivergent thinkers is that it thrives on repetition and structure. So if you find yourself caught in a loop of overthinking and it's in a direction that you don't really want, you can still use that natural tendency as a strength by redirecting your thoughts to empowering ones. So, for example, create a mantra like I am completely abundant and creative, and repeat it in moments of doubt, or even set reminders on your phone to reinforce it throughout the day. One of the things that I found really powerful as well is that when those doubtful thoughts come up, I just ask the question like does this have to be true? Is this ultimately true? Like am I never going to have support in my life? Do I? Have I never had friends who are there for me? You know, is it has it always been hard to manifest money, for instance? Like, whatever those lack thoughts would be, you pause and just ask yourself that question Like is it really true? And then you start to think the thoughts of it being opposite and then reframe it and go. You know what? No, I am. I am a powerful manifester. I do have people who care, I do have situations where things are very easy and I can continue to do this on my own right.

Carissa Andrews:

So for years I know I used to believe that success as a creator was only for people who had endless energy and could hustle 24 seven, especially in that indie author sphere. It just seemed like if you didn't publish a book, like a month, which is a very big thing it's still a big thing in the indie sphere then you're not going to be successful, because that's the only way to keep your readers engaged. But as a neurodivergent, I often felt overwhelmed by that narrative and it led me to burnout. Because I don't think that way. I don't like to do the same type of work over and over again. I don't like to just only be in my fictional worlds, like I want to do all sorts of different things. And one day I decided to just challenge that belief. Right, I started affirming to myself like my success comes from alignment, not exhaustion. And I backed this up by taking small, aligned actions every day, like setting clear boundaries and prioritizing rest and my meditations. And within months, not only did I feel more balanced which was key, I mean I was.

Carissa Andrews:

I was starting my day kid you not at like 6.30 in the morning, as soon as the kids were out the door. I was trying to work and it just put me off of kilter, like my. My nervous system was so out of whack at that time to the point where it's like now. It's like I wake up every day. I get the kids out the door. That part hasn't changed. But I sit down and I relax and I read for like an hour or two in the morning and it's just so much more in tune with how I want to be, and opportunities now flow more naturally. And shifting that belief, I think, really allowed me to work with my brain's unique rhythms rather than against them, and it's something that I take with me every single day now. So very, very important.

Carissa Andrews:

Okay, so let's talk about energy and frequency when it comes to this. So manifestation is mindset, energy and frequency, and it's also nervous system connection. Manifestation is mindset, energy and frequency, and it's also nervous system connection. So, with energy and frequency, everything in the universe vibrates at a frequency, even you, right? So this is all quantum physics.

Carissa Andrews:

When your energy aligns with your desires, manifestations flow more easily. It sounds normal, right, it sounds pretty easy. It sounds like well duh, of course, like if your energy is aligned with your desire, law of attraction says that it's going to come to you, and what's really interesting about that is that sometimes it's harder than we think, or we make it harder than it should be, because thoughts and emotions emit frequencies, and high vibe emotions, like joy and gratitude, align with abundance, while low vibe frequencies and low vibe emotions, like fear and doubt, will block it or slow it down For neurodivergent thinkers. Sometimes, you know, emotional regulation can feel harder because of sensory or emotional overwhelm, and this is why small, manageable shifts in energy, like finding the one thing that you're really grateful for, can create some big momentum in your life. So when you're acting out of love versus fear, for instance, you are going to have so much more success and flow in your life, and I'll give you an example.

Carissa Andrews:

So, going back to what I was talking about last week with calling in my husband my now husband, colin, when that happened, I was in the flow of complete love and joy learning to be an indie author. I was talking on Twitter, I was doing blogs, I was sharing, like, what I was learning about being an author. I was asking questions, I was involved with the community, we were going back and forth. It was so much fun. There was so much joy in communicating with people who got me at that point in time right. There was just. It was so like I remember. The vibration of it was just so joyous, and love was there too, I guess because I loved what I was working on. I loved the story I was creating. I loved all of it. Like all of that stuff was just really fun to me. And what was really interesting is that, like I had people coming over to like talk to me all the time. I was very much engaged in the community. There was this flow.

Carissa Andrews:

I met Colin like he was attracted into that space even though I wasn't looking for anyone versus the energy of like the way the indie sphere is now where it's like the hustle and the you got to publish really quickly. You know you're the only way to earn money is to publish another book really fast and if you don't publish really fast, then people will forget about you. It's like that vibration is so stagnant and so constrictive and it just feels like I don't fit in this place. And so when you're operating from that place, I mean and it's not that I didn't find success, which obviously I have, I'm an international bestselling author, I'm an award-winning author, I teach other authors how to do certain things but it just was not fulfilling to me the way that it was in the beginning, and part of that I wouldn't call it fear necessarily, but it's more of this notion of I don't want to do things like this this is my inner autism is like no, this is not the way I want this to work.

Carissa Andrews:

I want to be able to flow with however I want to flow. I want to be able to shift gears when I want to shift gears. If I want to work on, you know, a book cover, today, I want to work on a book cover, not like just write, because that's the only thing I'm now capable of doing, and I don't like repetition, at least not like that, like it starts to drive me a little bit batty. And so I need I need variety to make myself engaged and excited about, like what's happening in life, which it's that. I don't know if that's the ADHD side, I think it maybe is, but it's like. I like my routine, but I also like the novelty of doing something new. It's, it's very strange, but that is how I be, and I've learned this about myself. And so the energy of those things.

Carissa Andrews:

When you're in a place of fear of those things, when you're in a place of fear, you operate differently, you create differently, you show up differently, like when I was showing up doing that thing, whereas I thought I had to be all things everywhere all at once and work myself to the bone. I was earning way less for starters, but then I was way more stressed. I wasn't paying attention to my kids or my spouse the way that I probably should. You know, like Colin's, like hello, are you still here? Like we live in the same house. But that's the case. And there was this place where you just have to realize that love gets to be more powerful. Being aligned feels more powerful.

Carissa Andrews:

That is where you want to be when you're manifesting, because when you manifest from a place of fear or lack, you are still manifesting, but you're not manifesting to your highest capacity. You're not manifesting the life of your dreams, you're manifesting what you're afraid of. Do you see what I'm saying? Like, we're always in this place of like, bringing something in, and if we want something good, then we have to be the conscious creators of it. Okay, so that's where your energy comes into play here, energy and frequency.

Carissa Andrews:

Now, your nervous system is the thing that actually dictates all of this, right? So if your mind envision your mind as like the electro part of electromagnetism, so your mind sends out the signal, your emotions bring back the signal. Okay, and so when your emotions are out of whack due to like all the things that are going on, based off of the feelings that are coming up. Emotions bring back the signal Okay. And so when your emotions are out of whack due to like all the things that are going on, based off of the feelings that are coming up, you either are in your state of alignment or you're going into, like, nervous system dysregulation. So in that example of authorship, everything about the way that indie authorship is set up right now is to set up your nervous system into dysregulation. Very few people can function in that place in the way that it appears to be set up and feel good.

Carissa Andrews:

There's very few right, and so what ended up happening is it triggers our nervous system into fight or flight, and when that happens, your body is focused on survival, into fight or flight. And when that happens, your body is focused on survival, not creation. And when you're in survival, you are looking for safety. You are seeking security. You are making sure that you are not going to die like that. Where's the bear? Like we don't want to die. So that's not the place to be creating your best work. It's not the place to be connecting with others. It's not the place to share your love or your abundance or any of those things. The state blocks your ability to align with all of those things. Okay, so instead we want to be regulating our nervous system and keeping ourselves into this aligned place for ourselves. It's very important.

Carissa Andrews:

So there's this thing called polyvagal theory and it was developed by Dr Stephen Porges, and it explains how the vagus nerve actually connects the brain and the body, influencing your stress response. It describes three states of the nervous system the ventral vagal state, which is calm and connected. The sympathetic state, which is fight or flight, and then the dorsal vagal state, known as shutdown or freeze. So understanding these three states helps us to see how our nervous system impacts manifestation. When you're in the ventral vagal state, you feel safe, you feel aligned, which is ideal for creating and manifesting, because you're just in this place of complete safety and security. You're just in this place of complete safety and security. However, when you're stuck in fight or flight or shutdown, it blocks the process. Right, it makes sense because if you're in any kind of shutdown like what are you going to do? Regulating your nervous system then helps you to shift into the ventral vagal state more easily. So when you calm your nervous system, you're able to shift from high beta brainwaves, which is stress and all the things that we're doing, to alpha or theta brainwaves, where creativity alignment happen. It's often where we're going to be meditating in and doing that sort of stuff as well, in the alpha or theta brainwave state.

Carissa Andrews:

Now, one of the things I did talk about on TikTok is there is this curiosity in me that I wonder if neurodivergence operate typically in gamma or we should be operating in gamma brainwave state. It's just a theory, it's just something that I'm playing around with, because when we go into stress we drop into high beta, and the reason I wonder this is because it seems like so gamma is the brain wave state of like, oneness, of true alignment, of divine interception, like transcendental experiences through meditation, like sometimes we can go from theta into gamma, like there's this huge spike. But there is this question like we see autistics, like through the telepathy tapes, for instance, where nonverbal autistics are communicating telepathically in a place that seems impossible, and so just things to be thinking about. Anyway, off topic, it's fine, but for many of us, spending more time in fight or flight due to sensory sensitivities or overwhelm means that we have to be more conscious of our nervous system and learning how to regulate our nervous system in a way that works for our unique systems is really important. It's such a key to manifestation.

Carissa Andrews:

Now I did a whole podcast episode over at the Author Revolution podcast on the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system, which is slightly different from the polyvagal theory, but same kind of thing, right. It really just kind of helps us to understand when we're in a calm state versus the fight or flight. So when we're trying to do grounding practices, those sort of things help us to get into our, you know, parasympathetic nervous system where we can just chill back out, and that is the state of being calm, of being able to relax and digestion and all the things. And so things like meditation I do meditation every day, breath work, which is why we do that at the beginning of these podcast episodes.

Carissa Andrews:

And then one of my favorites to get into a nervous system regulated state is EFT tapping, and I think it works especially well when it comes to neurodivergent thinkers. And so we will talk about how to do EFT tapping and I'll give you just like a small example of it coming up here. But just know that I'm gonna include a script with today's podcast episode, so if you'd like to download the script to be able to do the tapping that we're going to talk about, or like going to the deeper tapping script, I want you to head over to manifest differentlycom forward, slash three, and that will give you the opportunity to be able to download the script. Okay, totally free, download it, give it a whirl, see what you think of it and I think it'll be very beneficial. Okay, and it'll kind of tie back to that limiting belief of lack. So I think that'll be a good place to do it there, because I think there's a lot of us who just need to like release that lack mentality.

Carissa Andrews:

Okay, so let's talk about some manifestation tools that will help you align mindset, energy and nervous system in a little bit deeper way. So the first one is reframing your thoughts. When you have a limiting belief like I'm always broke, for instance you reframe it into a more empowering one. But it takes that moment of recognition right, that moment of oh, there's that thing again. I'm feeling that pit in the bottom of my stomach where it's like I'm worried about money. So change, do the thing that Joe Dispenza talks about, change and then instead talk about money, flows to me with ease.

Carissa Andrews:

Now you could write this down daily for 21 days to rewire your brain. You could do the 5-5-5 manifestation method which I talk about in TikTok and I talk about on Substack. So if you want to learn more about those, head over to those two places. If it feels tedious, try saying it out loud while looking in the mirror or recording it on your phone to listen to it repeatedly. That might help. But I do find that there is a magic in writing it down, and even if it's tedious, because that hand-eye coordination thing rewires your brain in such a powerful way. But, like I said, if it is too tedious or if it does start to really bug you, there's some other options, like looking in the mirror and saying it or recording it to yourself and just listening to it.

Carissa Andrews:

Okay, so tool number two to get yourself into aligned energy is to visualize right. So close your eyes and imagine a scene where your manifestation has already come true. I want you to see it. I want you to feel it, especially feel it. I want you to hear it. What does the energy feel like to you? Like not just how do you feel, but what does the energy of the vibe feel like? Think of the way that I think about this, when I'm trying to feel the energy sometimes and it feels hard is I think about, like, the energy of a holiday that I really enjoy, like it has its own vibration. Right, christmas has its own vibration, or Halloween has its own vibration. So think about that energy of it, like how would that feel if it was already here? What does your future self's life look like? Would that feel if it was already here? What does your future self's life look like?

Carissa Andrews:

So, if visualization feels overwhelming, try scripting it instead. Write it out right, like write it out as if your desired life has already happened. Do it in present tense. You could start it with like I am so grateful that. And write it out that way.

Carissa Andrews:

And if you're just completely stuck, one of the things that I love to try doing is to tell ChatGPT like say hey, chat, this is where I'm trying to go. I have this manifestation I'm trying to call in. I don't even know what it would look like or feel like or what I should be thinking or doing. Can you help me write out like a day in the life of? Can you help me write out like a day in the life of, in present tense of what I'm doing, how I'm feeling now that that manifestation is here, and let it give you some things to ponder, because it'll trigger your own imagination, because sometimes, when we're in those lower vibrations of lack and we're not sure how to get there, we just need a little nudge right. It means that we're in a lower vibrational entry point and so we just need to nudge ourselves up the emotional scale, so to speak, so that we can start to visualize and understand it and then get tuned into it and it will probably trigger your own imagination to be able to dig into it more. And then you can ask chat to revise the day.

Carissa Andrews:

If you get those insights, which is really powerful, then read what it said, like every day for the next 12 days. Just read it out, read it to yourself and that's super cool. Okay, so tapping like I said, nervous system regulation through tapping is really cool. So I'll probably end up doing an entire episode on EFT tapping, but for the sake of this particular episode we've covered an awful lot I just want you to tap the side of your hand, so kind of like two karate chops, right, two karate hands.

Carissa Andrews:

Tap the one side of your hand, whether it be the side of your left hand or the side of the right hand, it really doesn't matter. Just tap your hands together and then say, even though I feel stressed, I deeply and completely love and accept myself. And just keep doing that. Even though I feel stressed or even though I feel like I'm in a sense of lack, I deeply and completely love and accept myself. And so what this does is it calms that fight or flight response. It acknowledges when you are feeling stressed or when you're feeling that sense of lack, whatever it might be. It helps you to like you can't move beyond an emotion unless you acknowledge its existence, and so the whole point is to acknowledge that it's there, acknowledge that that's what you're feeling, instead of trying to deny it, allowing it to move through you, so that you can get back into the place of I still love and accept myself like I am where I am. This is going to change Now when you go through a complete EFT tapping script. You're actually doing a lot of tapping points, and it's tapping on acupuncture pressure points in the body, which does help you to regulate your nervous system, and it gets you out of executive dysfunction or sensory overwhelm.

Carissa Andrews:

Super, super cool, and so I will include a couple of scripts maybe one for sure on lack in today's podcast episode, like I said. So head over to manifestdifferentlycom forward slash three if you want to download those scripts. And the last one is gratitude amplification. This is the last tool because super powerful. When you're in a state of gratitude or in a state of appreciation, you are in the ultimate energetic state of receivership. So if you're trying to manifest something into your life, you've got to get into a place of higher vibrations, of trusting that receiving is yours, that it is your birthright. So start or end your day by listing out three things that you are grateful or appreciative of. Okay, cause gratitude, like I said, shifts your energy into abundance. Now, one of the things I want. I want to introduce just a tiny little tweak. There's not many people who think about this the way I do, although I do think I've heard Abraham Hicks talk about this. Gratitude has always seemed a little bit. What's the word? Fake.

Carissa Andrews:

I guess because I hear a lot of people like, oh, write your gratitude list every day and do all these things, and to me it's like, well, that's great, but if you're not really feeling the sense of gratitude, then you're just kind of writing down stuff that you think you should be grateful for. Where appreciation feels different? And here's why, right, so I can appreciate my house, even though it is still in a state of remodel. It's not perfect. I still have places in the house that look like crap, that need to be done, but they're not done yet. But I appreciate what is done, I appreciate its transformation. My kids, like they're teenagers, and then I have a 10 year old. They're not perfect, sometimes they get on my nerves, but I appreciate them, I can love them for who they are. I can see the things that are really beneficial about them. Right, my job it isn't to my ideal place yet, but yet there are so many elements that I appreciate, and so it's much easier for me to reach for appreciation. And then, once you start to appreciate something, it snowballs Like. You can appreciate a lot of different things. You can appreciate the light coming through the window, you can appreciate that there's not that much snow outside or that it's sunny in the sky, instead of being like foggy and yucky, you can appreciate that there's electricity in the house. It's like all of a sudden everything becomes easier to appreciate. So just think about that, and if keeping a gratitude journal does feel hard, or talking about things you appreciate really honestly, you can just listen. Just listen to others Like one of my favorite things to do is to listen to the rampages of appreciation that Abraham Hicks does. There's so much good stuff there that helps you to shift out of where you're thinking right now and into that higher vibrational realms. So so good, okay, okay. So for this week, I want you to think about these questions, okay, okay. So for this week, I want you to think about these questions. So these can be journal prompts or they can be just things to ponder, because I think it'll help you get into a place where you can shift your nervous system, you can shift your energetics and get into a place of manifesting easy Okay. So question number one what limiting belief has been holding you back and how can you reframe it? Do you have any limiting beliefs going on? Anything that emotion-wise you are holding on to? Is it permeating your life and what can you reframe it? As Number two, what does it feel like to live the life you're manifesting? Write it all down in the present tense, or have Chachapiti do it for you, like we talked about. Write down the. Write it all down in the present tense, or have Chachapiti do it for you, like we talked about.

Carissa Andrews:

One of the things that I love to do and have been practicing doing lately is this notion of when I'm starting my day, when I'm doing my day. As often as I can, no matter what I'm doing, I am thinking about it as my future self. So if I am pouring a cup of coffee for myself and making it for myself, I'm thinking about, okay, my personal chef has already made the coffee. Like all I'm doing is grabbing it and going to sit down. Or maybe I'm sitting down already and my husband is grabbing it. Or if we're making breakfast, my personal chef is actually doing I don't know why personal chef seems to be the thing that I'm thinking about today, but I'm like dang it, I wish I had a personal chef to make my lunch. But you get my point. Like, no matter what I'm doing, I'm thinking about what it would be like or what would be happening at this particular moment if I'm already in my ideal life. If I am writing my book, I'm thinking about how I'm technically writing my next book because this particular book has become a New York Times bestseller. If I am doing a podcast for you, I'm thinking about how you are listening to the previous podcast and loving it so far, and so, as I'm doing this next one, you are going to love this one too. Like whatever it is that you're doing throughout the day, be thinking about what your next level, 2.0 self is doing.

Carissa Andrews:

Okay, and then, lastly, what small daily action can you take to align your nervous system with your desires? Does that mean letting go of working straight out the gate? Does it mean taking some more time off? Does it mean trusting your own nervous system? Does it mean paying attention to when you're feeling tight and stressed out? Does it mean doing EFT tapping? Does it mean doing vagus nerve stimulation? Does it mean somatic exercises? All these things are things that will go more in depth, but I'm just trying to give you a heads up of, like, different things that can be done and different things that we need to be keeping in our awareness to be done, and different things that we need to be keeping in our awareness.

Carissa Andrews:

All right, guys, I want you to just pause after this episode just for a couple of minutes and journal on those things that we were talking about. And if journaling isn't your thing, it wasn't mine for a very long time, although I have gotten much better and, like I said, that, there's something to that hand-eye coordination thing that really concretizes it in my brain. But try voice recording your reflections or creating a mind map instead, like whatever works for you. Remember, this is about making it your own and being able to work with your own brain, and I know that obviously not all of our brains work exactly the same. So that's why I try to give you as many examples as I can and I hope that they're as beneficial as possible. Give you as many examples as I can and I hope that they're as beneficial as possible.

Carissa Andrews:

Okay, real quick, before we head out, let's just summarize the key takeaways. Okay, so manifestation I believe it is a dance, really honestly, between mindset, your emotional and personal vibrational energy and your nervous system, and by rewiring your thoughts, aligning your energy and calming your body, you can really step into your manifestational power, and this process is completely adaptable for you, right For neurodivergent thinkers, for those of us who just want to try things differently. So I invite you to choose one of the tools from today's episode to try this week. Small, consistent actions lead to big shifts, and if you want to download the EFT tapping script, definitely go over to the show notes for today. If you want to get the transcript, go over to the show notes for today. So, like I said, it's manifestdifferentlycom forward, slash three and you can get the information to download everything there.

Carissa Andrews:

So next week we're going to be tackling a very important question or very important topic when manifestation feels impossible. I'll be giving you my hardest lesson on how I overcame this particular topic so that we can make sure that we're moving in the right direction and doing all the things that help us align to our greatest purpose. So remember, as we move on with the day, as we go forth and do all the things that we're going to be doing, all the ways that we are going to give our energy to the world and to those around us, you are powerful, you are aligned and capable of creating the life you desire. So trust in the process and trust in yourself, even when it seems hard. Even when it seems like everything is against you, everything is still guiding you in the right direction, and sometimes we have preconceived notions of who we get to be or who we should be, and we just have to allow in new potentials.

Carissa Andrews:
